Just an update, after a slow start to my year with the workshops, I’m pleased to say that the next two workshops, Saturday 10th June and Saturday 8th July are now fully booked. Join us at the bakery for a fun filled and informative day of sourdough bread making.
Lyn will take you through the craft of making your own sourdough breads by hand baked in our Alan Scott designed and built wood fired ovens, sadly this was one of the last ovens Alan Scott built before his untimely death in 2009 at the age of 72, his spirit lives on in our breads.

After the morning of weighing, mixing and kneading we will sit down to a lunch and a glass of wine produced here on the farm by Philip Lobley Wines and let nature take its course as your dough slowly ferments.

At the end of the day you will return home to family and friends with your very own hand crafted loaves and a “Bruce” of your own (Bruce is the name given to our sourdough starter)

As part of The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival we invite you to

Join us on the farm and make your own lunch

In this fun filled day you will make sausages, hand make sourdough bread

and harvest veggies from our “patch”

Come prepared to dig, chop, mince, stuff, roll, fold, bake, create, BBQ, eat and drink.

Together we will produce a tasty lunch then all sit down and enjoy our morning’s labour

and toast each other with a lovely glass of Philip Lobley Wine
